Lighting Zone One - Dust/Fog
This is the dust/fog zone, which illuminates the area directly in front of the vehicle and is primarily used in conditions with significant dust, fog and other particulates in the air.
For Zone 1, we recommend the wide/cornering lens. This lens pattern spreads the light horizontally with minimum vertical spill. We also recommend the use of the amber version of this lens pattern as it produces less glare and particle reflection than white.

Lighting Zone Two - Cornering
This is the Cornering zone, which provides light in your peripheral view in order to prevent tunnel vision. Illuminate obstacles or animals entering the trail to better gauge terrain while making a turn. Cornering light is necessary to drive comfortably at speeds.
Zone 2 is all about illuminating the peripheral areas of your lighting zone, so our Wide/Cornering lens pattern is what is recommended in this zone. This lens provides the greatest amount of horizontal spread and helps blend into Zones 1 and 3.

Lighting Zone Three - Driving Combo
This is the core zone that you will build your lighting package around and will determine how your other zones will be tuned. This is especially true for high-performance off-road lighting.
We recommend our Driving/Combo pattern as the perfect pattern for Zone 3 since it provides a wide and spot element all into one lens.

Lighting Zone Four - Spot
This is the spot zone, As you start driving faster off-road, the use of a dedicated spot light becomes essential. This zone helps you see further down the road to gauge terrain or obstacles in an effort to give you time to react.
For Zone 4, we recommend our spot pattern lens. This lens provides the greatest amount of distance throw, while also keeping a tighter pattern of light - causing less glare if you choose to mount lights on the roof or a-pillar.

Lighting Zone Five - Racer Edition Spot
This is the Racer Edition Spot light zone. These lights are designed for those that drive in the triple digits of speed off-road, or need to see thousands of feet down the road. Zone 5 lights produce an even tighter pattern than our traditional spots. Before adding lights in Zone 5, we recommend having a well balanced lighting package in order to avoid separations of spotlights due to this much tighter pattern.
We only offer a spot pattern lens in Zone 5 lights, as they feature many components that are designed for use in distance-specific applications. Using a wider lens would be counter productive to the goal of throwing light thousands of feet down the road.

Lighting Zone Six - Rock Light
This is the Rock Light Zone. Lights in this zone illuminates the wheel wells or undercarriage and is perfect for any type of tight situations where you need to see under or around the bottom of the vehicle.
For most applications, one light per corner is enough. Dedicated rock crawlers may want to increase this count based upon their needs.

Lighting Zone Seven - Cargo
This is the cargo lighting zone. It encompasses the general work zone around the vehicle, and often when you need to make a planned on unplanned stop off-road. Cargo lighting is essential for any build.
Zone 7 Work/Scene pattern is a perfectly round and smooth light that illuminates your workspaces evenly.

Lighting Zone Eight - Reverse/Dust
This is the reverse or dust light zone. Being seen is almost always as important as seeing when driving at night. From off-roading at night to pulling out of your driveway, people are only able to react to what they can actually see. Using a dust light can help mitigate the risk in low visibility situations.
The pattern of these lights is application dependent. Reverse lights benefit from the Work/Scene pattern, which provides a round and smooth pattern of light. A Wide/Cornering lens can be used when closer to the ground, or to gain a bit of distance while maintaining a wide spread.

Lighting Zone 51 - Laser
This is the ultimate in distance lighting, the laser zone. This is a spotlight designed for use in high speed and distances, in applications such as search and rescue, industrial, and security -or, you want to go really fast.
Zone 51 only uses a spot pattern, unless used in our Laser Hybrid series, which uses the best of laser and LED diodes.
