overview

The Synergy MFG Heavy Duty Steering Kit for TJ/LJ, XJ, ZJ, and MJ models is a larger and stronger, bolt-on replacement for stock steering. No reaming or drilling of the steering knuckles is required. This is a direct bolt-on kit.

Synergy modeled the geometry of this steering after the stock Y-Style steering. We did this for a couple of reasons. Y-Style steering minimizes bump steer (compared to T-style), and by keeping the front wheels separated, helps prevent death wobble. There will be some toe change, but it will not adversely affect driving and there won't be any more toe change than there was with the stock steering. The complete kit includes a new Tie Rod, Drag Link, Steering Stabilizer Clamp, and all new HD Metal on Metal Tie Rod Ends.

The Tie Rod is made from 1-3/8" 4130 Chromoly steel and is heat-treated for maximum strength. The Drag Link is made from 1-3/8" 1018 Solid Bar to eliminate any deflection. Both parts are finished with an abrasion-resistant powder coat finish for maximum durability and corrosion resistance. The Drag Link features our Double Adjuster Assembly allowing for adjustment of the Drag Link length without removal from the vehicle and the Tie Rod features Left Hand and Right Hand opposing threads to allow for adjustment of the Tie Rod length without removal from the vehicle. Fits vehicles with 2-6" of lift and requires a minimum of 2" front bump stop spacers. A single plane tie rod end is now included at the knuckle end of the Drag Link to prevent unwanted misalignment (flop) of the steering system.

DRAG LINK:
  • Drag Link is bent to clear factory axle brackets and is compatible from stock to 6" lifted vehicles. (Vehicles over 6" of lift will require a drop pitman arm for compatibility)
  • Synergy Double Adjuster Sleeve: allows adjustment of Drag Link length without removing it from the vehicle.
  • Suspension components feature an abrasion-resistant powder coat finish for maximum durability and corrosion resistance.
  • 100% bolt on components assures an easy, trouble free installation with the use of basic hand tools.
  • Drag Link is made from 1-3/8" 1018 Solid Bar

Steering Stabilizer Clamp:
  • CNC extruded and machined from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy
  • Black anodized for maximum corrosion resistance
  • Designed to mount factory and aftermarket steering stabilizers using a 1/2" bolt to the Drag Link
  • The TJ stabilizer does not have the proper ends for mounting with our kit while the JK stabilizer does

FIBERGLASS SHIPPING POLICY:
Our shipping department takes the same time and effort in packaging your products as our engineers do in designing them. However, damage can still occur in shipping. Most of these damaged items can be easily repaired during install and or in paint prep. If this is not the case, the buyer must inspect the packaging and the products carefully upon receiving them, then accept the shipment and if need be, notate any damages and irregularities, such as crushed, torn, punctured, or broken parts on both the packaging and the product, on the freight bill or receipt at the driver’s presence. A signed receipt without any notation releases the carrier as well as SDHQ from any further damage claim. Discovery of damages after a clear delivery becomes the responsibility of the customer. The buyer must notify SDHQ of any damages within 24 hours. In cases of damage with proper notion on receipt, the carrier will determine whether to pay for the repair cost or replacement value of the damaged goods after damage inspection. Replacement value is the amount the buyer paid to SDHQ and is not negotiable. All disputes about the settlement amount shall be addressed with the carrier. SDHQ, under no circumstances, shall be liable for the damaged product or for subsequent settlement of the claim with the carrier.

POWDER COATED ROCK SLIDERS SHIPPING POLICY: While we pack with care, we advise against shipping powder-coated sliders due to the risk of scuffs/scratches during transit. Any shipping-related damage isn't covered by SDHQ.

GOOSE GEAR SHIPPING POLICY: All Goose Gear products are made-to-order. Once your order is placed, it cannot be cancelled or refunded. By checking this box, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. Thank you for understanding the unique nature of our custom manufacturing process.

RETURNS:
