Carli Suspension's Backcountry 2.0 system for the 2014-2018 Ram 2500 Power Wagon is designed for people seeking the best ride on and off-road on a budget.

This suspension system is perfect for those that want to have a little dirt-road fun in their 7,500lb truck without losing the on-road ride quality or usability for which the truck was designed. You’re no longer limited to the low-speed offroad; Gravel roads become uninteresting as you can drive them at speed with one hand on the wheel. Utilizing Fox 2.0” Remote Reservoir Shocks, we’ve developed a shock tune that delivers all around comfort and ride quality designed for on-road, in town, highway, towing/hauling as well as slow to mid speed off road use; think of them as a more capable Commuter. The Fox 2.0s boast extruded aluminum construction with a clear anodizing for corrosion resistance, are fully rebuildable and are built with hour-glass bushings in the rod-ends. Fox builds these shocks with their legendary red shock oil that flows well down to -55° F.

Rear Coil Spring Options:

Option 1, R1 coils: 0.5″-1″ lift, reduced capacity soft-ride coils – Max 1,500lb. bed load. 

Option 2, R2 coils: 2”-3” lift. These coils maintain the factory payload. Through our testing (up to 2,500lbs), we spec them as a factory capacity spring capable of 800lbs. constant payload (or more on lighter trucks) to level to 3.25″ front lift.

KIT DETAILS:

Carli's Signature Shock Tuning for the 2014-2018 Power-Wagon Ram trucks. 2.0″ Remote Reservoir Shocks provide users with a comfortable, entry level off-road capability paired with a controlled, vastly improved on-road ride.

Your truck will sit 1” higher in the front (cab configuration dependent) with a touch more suspension travel than the factory platform thanks to the taller, lighter rate coil springs. The rear Carli Coil Springs will drop by ½”-1” to level the truck while upping the rear suspension capacity to a respectable 2,000lbs.

The additional inch of front lift and off-road oriented application call for a better track bar to handle the new-found increased off-road abilities. This system includes an Adjustable Track Bar to recenter the axle and provide a stronger link with less deflection for the lifted application. Also included are Carli’s Radius Arm Drop Brackets to drop the pivot point of the dual pivot Power Wagon arms, alleviate diagonal spring pressures (ensure no bow in the coil springs) and allow full adjustment of the factory caster bolt.

WHEEL AND TIRE INFO:

This system will fit up to a 37” tire when utilizing wheels that are no more than 9” wide with 5.75-6” of backspacing. A 12.5” wide should fit with no rubbing on the factory radius arm and only minor trimming required, while a 13.5” will require more trimming and slightly more offset to fit properly. 35” tires will fit with VERY minimal, if any trimming. We Recommend running a 17”/18” diameter wheel for optimal ride quality (more rubber = better small bump compliance) on a 35”-37” E-rated tire running 45psi front, 40psi rear when unloaded.

Our shipping department takes the same time and effort in packaging your products as our engineers do in designing them. However, damage can still occur in shipping. Most of these damaged items can be easily repaired during install and or in paint prep. If this is not the case, the buyer must inspect the packaging and the products carefully upon receiving them, then accept the shipment and if need be, notate any damages and irregularities, such as crushed, torn, punctured, or broken parts on both the packaging and the product, on the freight bill or receipt at the driver’s presence. A signed receipt without any notation releases the carrier as well as SDHQ from any further damage claim. Discovery of damages after a clear delivery becomes the responsibility of the customer. The buyer must notify SDHQ of any damages within 24 hours. In cases of damage with proper notion on receipt, the carrier will determine whether to pay for the repair cost or replacement value of the damaged goods after damage inspection. Replacement value is the amount the buyer paid to SDHQ and is not negotiable. All disputes about the settlement amount shall be addressed with the carrier. SDHQ, under no circumstances, shall be liable for the damaged product or for subsequent settlement of the claim with the carrier.

POWDER COATED ROCK SLIDERS SHIPPING POLICY: While we pack with care, we advise against shipping powder-coated sliders due to the risk of scuffs/scratches during transit. Any shipping-related damage isn't covered by SDHQ.

GOOSE GEAR SHIPPING POLICY: All Goose Gear products are made-to-order. Once your order is placed, it cannot be cancelled or refunded. By checking this box, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. Thank you for understanding the unique nature of our custom manufacturing process.

RETURNS:
