PRODUCT OVERVIEW:

The Stage 5 suspension system for the 2010 + Toyota 4Runner is the best over all handling bolt on suspension system you can install. This system can handlle any terrain you throw at it and gives you unsurpassed ride quality on the street and the performance offroad is incredible. Remote Reservoir's are added to the front Coil-over shocks in the Stage 5 system which give the 4Runner's front suspension longevity and great heat dissipation through any terrain you try to cross. Our rear springs in this system give the 4Runner 2" of lift, and the rear billet lower links help manage the rear axle to cycle smoothly with out bind. ICON's V.S. Series 2.5" Diameter Rear Remote Reservoir Shocks make vast improvements compared to our other systems for the people that use there vehicles in various on and offroad situations. These shocks are tuned specifically to give your Toyota 4Runner a balanced and smooth ride quality, along with extended length shock cooling from the increased oil volume and remote reservoir. 57810 4Runner 2.5" rear shocks have a built in bump zone to increase your compression valving in the final two inches of compression travel, which prevents the harsh bottom out sensation, and gives the vehicle a much more controlled ride quality.

DELTA JOINT OPTION:

This system features upper control arms with ICON's patent-pending Delta Joint. The Delta Joint is a heavy duty high angle ball joint that combines the durability of a ball joint with the performance characteristics of a  traditional   uniball. While the industry standard uniball does a great job of allowing the control arms of a vehicle to articulate with little bind, they do have an inherent weakness that leaves more to be desired when used in a daily driven application - exposure to the elements. The Delta Joint features a zinc plated housing providing the first layer of corrosion resistance, while a tough grease seal keeps potentially harmful elements out of the inner workings of the joint. Metal on metal construction and a greasable design increase the longevity of the Delta Joint while at the same time allowing for noise-free operation. What makes the Delta Joint unique is that it brings the best of both worlds to ICON upper control arms with features that make it more robust than a  uniball, and at the same time capable of greater angularity than a typical ball joint.

Tech Info:

ICON recommends the use of ICON's #56100 shock shin guards or a protective boot to reduce the chance of shock shaft damage. These shocks are located in a vulnerable position that allows debris to easily come in direct contact with the shock shaft.
