The factory arm DOES limit the travel of the Commuter kit. The Commuter kit is actually capable of about 1\" more travel than it's spec'd with BUT, we had to install a short internal spacer in the coilover to limit the travel of the shock and ensure customers were not topping out on the factory ball joint in the upper control arm. The King Shocks we offer include our control arms and achieve this extra 1\" down travel. Being more budget and on-road focused, we limited the travel of the Commuters for safe operation with the factory control arm. Carli Coil Springs and Leaf Springs for the 1994-02 are designed side-specific to lift the Driver’s side more than the Passenger’s side to lessen\/eliminate this common lean. However, we’ve had trucks require the taller spring be installed on the passenger’s side to achieve a level stance and trucks that require the same height springs be installed on both sides to achieve a leveled stance. These trucks are not an exact science and were designed long before CAD programs and design standardization. For this reason, we cannot guarantee the truck will sit level side to side nor is the corrective action a “warranty”. Our choice was either discontinue the product line OR present the customer with the design oddities so they know what they’re getting into. For those wanting to land in the middle of the spectrum between these two end points, Carli’s optional Torsion sway bar removes the entire factory sway bar assembly replacing it with a torsion bar supported by fabricated drop brackets and delrin bushings. Fabricated sway bar arms and dual 5\/8” FK heim end links round off the package. This is the single best bang for the buck, ride-quality upgrade offered by Carli Suspension when compared to the locked, factory sway bar. The Carli Sway Bar allows nearly bind-free articulation in low-speed applications; when things heat up, it allows the Carli Shocks and springs to breath while engaging progressively to provide control in high-speed cornering situations.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe additional front lift and off-road oriented application call for a better track bar to handle the new-found increased off-road abilities.
